Evening ride to ECR

It was a Sunday evening with a cloudy climate,thank you weather God for giving us such a wonderful climate! As we had planned we hit our bikes for the ride to Mahabs.Vishwa was blamed for the late start( ;) ) .We zipped past the city traffic and hit the ECR. Soon we were in the formation (Me leading the group with Aashish sweeping ...hehe ;) ).We were maintaing speeds of 70-80kmph.ECR -how many ever times we ride on that road, it still is the best roads to ride on in Chennai.We were covering the miles at a descent speed under the dark clouds.Vicky was my pillion and he had the cam which clicked some beautiful pics!Our first stop was at the toll plaza,clicked few pics and we headed for the pine forests.

I wanted to get to the beach along with our bikes(as I had done during my Pondy ride).When I asked others everyone refused.But when I took them near to the spot and asked them they agreed(Hehe this is called temptation!).Now was the struggling part to get our bikes to the sea shore on the beach sand.We pushed hard, revved hard, helped each other and somehow managed to bring all our bikes to the shore.Bikes on the beach-what next?? After the fun on the beach (and damn exhausted!!)we went to View Point.We Spent an hour there then decided to drop our plan of going to Mahabs and started our journey back home.

It was an awesome ride in the evening.Looking forward for many more rides with RCD.
